The right shaft from Rito, also for your moped
Bending, torsion, torsional vibrations and hellish temperatures - for the crankshaft on your moped, this is part of everyday life. The strain on the crankshaft of your bead is even greater if you are one of those moped lovers who can't keep their hands off tuning. With tuned or souped-up mopeds, the revs increase so drastically that the end of the line is reached for standard shafts. To bring the full power of your tuned moped to the road, you need a particularly robust, high-precision and powerful crankshaft for your wolf in sheep's clothing. And this is exactly what the Portuguese tuning company Rito offers you. The manufacturer has also been delivering outstanding quality in the field of standard shafts for decades. These masterpieces of engineering are of course a must in our shop.

From two-wheeler workshop to top manufacturer of crankshafts
The Portuguese company Rito was founded in 1947 as a family business and initially focussed primarily on the professional overhaul of engines. However, the mechanics from the northern Portuguese city of Braga were not satisfied with just working on engines. As early as 1951, Rito developed its own 50 cc two-stroke engine with two cylinders. In 1960, production of pistons and gearboxes for various motor vehicles began in Braga. Finally, in 1966, the company entered mass production, which was made possible by the acquisition of new, automated production facilities. At this time, Rito was already producing shafts for various moped and motorbike manufacturers. At the end of the 1970s, the Portuguese company opted for CNC-controlled systems in production, which was still an absolute exception at the time. The continuous modernisation of production methods bore fruit and the quality of the pistons, shafts and gears was constantly improved. As a result, Rito became one of the leading original equipment manufacturers for mopeds and suppliers for the spare parts market. Certification of its quality management system enabled the renowned brand to raise its product quality to a higher level once again at the start of the new millennium.
