The swiing® ingenious EVO racing ignition with light (12 Volt & 60 Watt) is suitable for left- and right-turning engines with 1:5 flywheel cone & 90 mm center plates.
The following special features characterize this ignition:
- From the factory more flywheel mass than HPI ignitions, thus smoother engine idling (382 grams)
- Finely balanced flywheel for less vibration
- Trigger thread with normal M26x1.5 mm pitch, so normal Bosch/Ducati flywheel pullers can be used

The ignition is compatible with cable starters and fan gears which also fit the HPI, you can find these in the accessories section.
Installation instructions:
- Right-turning engines: Set the piston to TDC, the marking on the base plate at 11 o'clock (left of the swiing logo) must match the marking on the flywheel, this achieves a timing of 2 mm before TDC.
- Left-turning engines: Set the piston to TDC, the marking on the base plate at 13 o'clock (to the right of the swiing logo) must match the marking on the flywheel; this achieves a timing point of 2 mm before TDC.
- Flywheel tightening torque: 37 - 39 Nm (no keyway available)
- The CDI and ignition coil must be supplied with a good earth (grounding), otherwise they can be damaged within a short time.
- The lighting system should also be equipped with a 12 V voltage regulator.
Correct pinning of the Superseal connector:
- 1 = black
- 2 = blue
- 3 = white
Attention: The ignition components stator, rotor, CDI and ignition coil are not compatible with parts of the HPI ignition!
