A well-functioning and grippy brake plays an important role in riding safety. If you have tuned your moped and are travelling at high speeds on the racetrack or on the track, the standard brake system is often no longer sufficient. In this case, you should definitely retrofit a complete disc brake system with brake disc, brake calliper and corresponding brake line and brake lever to replace the original brakes on your Puch-Maxi moped or X30. Retrofitting disc brakes to your Puch moped
Retrofitting a disc brake to your Puch moped is a little more complicated. This is because most of the brand's models are not designed by the manufacturer to be fitted with disc brakes. You may therefore have to fit a new wheel hub to your Puch moped that is suitable for operation with a brake disc.
