SparkEVO Zero Basic electronic capacitor (Version 2.0) | Sachs

The Spark EVO Zero Basic module (version 2.0) was developed to make the breaker ignition on your Sachs moped / moped significantly more wear-resistant and low-maintenance.
The box uses the breaker only as a clock generator and replaces the capacitor at the same time. Problems with worn breaker contacts and poor-quality capacitors are therefore a thing of the past. In addition, your ignition coil can build up higher voltages, which has a positive effect on the upper speed limit of heavily tuned motors.

Advantages of the electronic ignition module:

• Maintenance-free
• Higher voltage in the upper engine speed range
• Higher engine speeds possible than with conventional contact ignition
• Maintenance-free;
• Easy way to install a cut-off switch or kill switch

Mounting on ignitions with internal ignition coil:

• Mount the box close to the motor, e.g.B. on the motor screw
• Remove the capacitor from your contact ignition
• Remove the ignition coil cable from the capacitor, as well as the cable leading outwards inside your ignition;
• connect the breaker with a new cable and route this to the outside to the first connection of the module
• attach a new cable to the small cable of the ignition coil (e.g. the cable of the ignition coil).B. listed in the accessories) and route this to the outside to the middle connection of the module
• connect the right-hand connection to a ground point on the frame, e.g. on the motor screw

Installation for ignition systems with external ignition coil:

• Mount the box close to the external ignition coil, e.g. on the motor screw
• remove the capacitor from your contact ignition
• remove the cable of the pulse coil and the cable leading outwards inside your ignition from the breaker
• connect the breaker with a new cable and lead this outwards to the left-hand connection of the module
• attach a new cable to the pulse coil (e.g. as described in the accessories manual).
• attach a new cable to the pulse coil (as listed in the accessories, for example) and route this outwards to the middle connection of the module
• Also attach the cable that leads to the external ignition coil to the middle connection of the module
• connect the right-hand connection to a ground point on the frame, e.g. on the motor screw
• .e.g. on the motor screw

Notes: The breaker gap can be left at 0.4-0.5 mm. Pay attention to the cable routing inside the ignition so that it is not damaged by the rotating flywheel. As before, your light coil supplies 6 V, so there is no need to change your bulbs to 12 V.
