Revised 2021 version of one of the best cylinder kits available for Piaggio Si, Bravo 2 and 3 and Grillo mopeds / mopeds.
This is the version with 10 mm piston pin and the older version of the cylinder head.
This cast iron cylinder offers a very good increase in performance over the entire rev range and makes it one of the most popular 63 cc racing cylinders for Piaggio.
The workmanship is very clean and the matching of the piston windows to the overflow channels and boost parts is also very good. The webs in the area of the cylinder head significantly reduce the risk of piston jamming and make the cylinder extremely durable.
The cylinder head with its original look ensures good compression with its combustion chamber shape matched to the cylinder and piston.
With the reworking, the triangular shape of the cylinder head was adapted to a longitudinal shape. As a result, the cylinder fits much better on racing gear such as the Polini Speed Engine, but less well on the original gear. Fortunately, there is enough sealing surface available so that you can bring the channels back into a triangular shape on the cylinder if necessary.
