Revised 2021 version of one of the best available cylinders including cylinder head for Piaggio mopeds / mopeds with 10 mm piston pin.
This cast iron cylinder offers a very good increase in performance over the entire rev range and makes it one of the most popular 63 cc racing cylinders for Piaggio engines.
The workmanship is very clean and the matching of the piston windows to the overflow channels and boost parts is very good. The webs in the area of the cylinder head significantly reduce the risk of piston jamming and make the cylinder extremely durable. The cylinder head with its small combustion chamber and large flat sealing surface ensures good compression. Thanks to the additional cooling fins on the sides, this racing cylinder head can dissipate the resulting heat even better and thus protects the racing set from overheating.
Note: Before initial installation, the deco pin must be hammered into the valve seat. To do this, place the cylinder head on a stable surface with the valve ribs facing downwards and insert the pin. The deco pin must then be brought into the correct fit using a medium-strength punch and a slotted screwdriver or punch (Ø 4-6 mm). This method is unusual, but recommended by Malossi. The remaining parts required to complete the valve must be taken from the original valve.
This cylinder kit requires spark plugs with a long thread.
